Yes he will. We'd still be in League One had it not been for him. People have short memories.

He'll get no reception from me, i will not boo him and i won't ever applaud a player that takes to the field against Leeds. Don't blame him from originally jumping straight from league 1 to prem because he got promoted on merit twice with scunny and Leeds (-15) to the champ and performances in the cup proved he had the ability.

Its like seeing an ex, you really want to hate them but you remember the good times too.

The only difference in football is when they sh@gg you after you break up you really don't enjoy it.

Absolutely 100% spot on but our fans don't have a great record welcoming back former players. We still have naive fans that believe players will spend their entire careers with us

I was disappointed Richard Naylor never got a song sang for him away at Donny. He was applauded by the Leeds fans as he left the pitch late on but this was another player instrumental in getting us out of league 1. People remember his mistakes in the CC but soon forget he captained this side out of the depths we were in and gave some solid displays when he first came.

I will join in with the deserved praise for Beckford on his return

People hold the transfer request he handed in against him strongly, even though he revoked it quickly enough. Although that is possibly because he knew Leeds still wouldn't sell. He went through a rough patch where it looked like he was going to **** Leeds over and in the last 6 or 7 games he came back with flying colours and went out with a bang - he redeemed himself, so for that he deserves a good reception.

Why would you not give him a ood reception? He is the best striker we have had in 8 years and like it or not he is a Leeds legend. He was the main man that got us up and he scored against then in the cup.

When he scores 3 past graysons back 4 I will applaud him.

I think a month ago I would have given him a cracking reception, but of course, a month ago he was an Everton player. He moved to the Premiership because it was the world's best league, we understood, we were disappointing but we let him go and understood and respected him and his decision. But now he has joined Leicester, in the same league, and with arguably similar promotion hopes, as in it will only happen if our season dramatically turns around, which is just as possible for both sides. He has shown it wasn't because of the league he would be playing in, because then why did he agree to join Leicester after only experiencing the Premiership for one season? It's clear money played a part in this, a leading role. For that, and that alone, he has lost legendary status for me. He is a very good player, but his general attitude and recent events have turned me against him.

My understanding is he wanted to stay at everton but they are in the dodo with the money and the bid was to good to turn down. Nothing to do with him getting wages.

It's bad form not to acknowledge an ex Leeds legend. He got us out of 3rd div., he scored that goal against scum in the theatre of dreams. There are very few players that I will not salute ; Joe Jordan, Gordon McQueen, Eric Cantona & Kirsten.

He deserves a good reception for: Getting us out of L1 & that goal in the FAC. It'll be interesting to see his reaction were he to score against us. If he doesn't celebrate, he should get a big round of applause were he to then get substituted later in the game. If, however, he goes over the top in any celebration & rubs our noses in it, no doubt he'll get the reception he deserves.

Pity it didn't work out for him at Everton, but not, I suspect, a situation of his making.

YNBK, if you're right on wages, Leicester had better get promoted this season otherwise they'll have major problems financially next season if they don't. How the phark can a side like Leicester afford wages like that?

He deserves a good reception. He played 141 times for us and scored 85 goals, including the one that got us promoted and one away at Old Trafford. Just because he left doesn't mean that he didn't care about the club. I don't know why people take it personally when a player leaves, he went to play Premier League at Everton, and he left Everton because he wasn't wanted.
