Don't know if this is true but, there is a rumour going round saying that his contract has been cancled. The 2 parties are agreeing a compensation fee now and maybe on his way back to Leeds And this is not a wind up
really...think about it for one second...we sign the guy for 2million plus then release him for nothing a year later....

I've seen that. Doubt it's true mind. No source or anything and I'd have thought someone would have picked this up were it true. I don't think we would pay off his contract because it would cost us a bomb.
Some idiot says something on twitter, and everyone repeats it For starters we wont release Beckford because it will cost us millions, we would do better to just let him go on a free or loan him Albeit Nigel doesnt like his attitude or anything i doubt he is that set against keeping him for us to release him.

Exactly like the Heskey thing. I don't think he's coming to us and I don't think he's going to Sunderland either. My post was suggesting that this story is probably rubbish, you don't have to look for anything negative, I was just saying the source was poor(if not non-existent).
There is only 3 or 4 people i twitter i deem credible people. Anyone else and i take whatever they say with a pinch of salt
