Hows our old striker doing for you guys, has he actually played a full match for you or did Sven get him in for a bit-part/impact player, that kind of thing, cos he doesn't seem to be making an impact down there
Well, we're currently playing 4/3/3 so he isn't getting a look in because Nugent is in better form. But coming off the bench he looks dangerous. I'd like to see him given a chance in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Nugent just behind him, personally.
But Kasper also has a massive ego, do you think there's any reason you can deal with one and not the other?
Simple. Kasper has been performing, so is entitled to have an ego. Beckford needs to get his head down until he starts doing the biz.
Does Kasper really have that big an ego though? I certainly haven't seen it and (from the limited info you can gather from it) he usually comes across as quite humble when interviewed. Fair enough he'll shout and scream when he needs to but that, for me, it's an asset for a keeper to be vocal and it helps him command his 18 yard area which he does well.
He fell out with the other Leeds players over his attitude. Apparently played the "do you know who my dad is?" card for all it was worth and refused to do what he was told in training. Also never admits fault for anything.
Well, it's surprising to hear that. Kasper's always come across as a good pro and has been praised by some of our team members for his attitude for a young keeper. Certainly heard nothing about falling out with anyone - apparently he's one of the banterers in our squad. But if there was any sort of attitude problem, Nigel's shown in the past that he won't stand for it and I can only assume that isn't a problem here due to the fact he keeps getting picked.
No offence but I'd suggest there's probably a larger number of egos in your squad, possibly suggesting why he gets on better.
And regarding not taking responsibility, he couldn't apologise enough during an interview when he was sent off, even though it was a bad referee decision.
I think the only person at Leeds refusing to do anything was Andy O'Brien or refused to play for them the other week. Kasper doesnt have an ego but he wont take crap
Kasper does have an ego and fell out with players/staff because of his attitude. O'Brien is also a tit.
From someone that doesnt care much about any of your teams, Kasper was interviewed the other day, comes accross as quite a decent bloke. Of course he's gonna have the stigma of his father, but hes not in the Leicester team because of that, hes there on merit. Personally, if i had Peter Schmichael's son in goal, i would love it! The fact that he's probably been trained but one of the best keepers ever to have lived! But David James has been doing ok at the moment, still rather have Kasper to be fair.
