Def a panic buy, but maybe given a bit of service from a decent midfield, instead of the inept one we have at present, he may have have a chance of scoring the odd goal, but who knows................
So its just methat remembers that he looked red hot in the first half when played in 4-4-2 with Nugent but when he was played on the wing he turned ****e? If Delaney hadn't have swiped him down he'd have scored a great goal (fantastic first touch) and we'd be sayign about how this is it and he'll come good. I think its the midfield, he was played in once all game and Nugent wasn't played in at all. Wellens, Gallagher and Dyer were all shocking and Abe was pleasantly surprising. We need to drop Wellens, he's the core of our play and he's ****e at the moment. He's (as we know) a fabulous player, but he's seriously out of form.
You know AKCJ , so many times a club will sign a decent player who then plays ****e once he's at his new club ... It's happened so many times and it will keep on happening... then at other times a club sign a player and the fans think who the f is he, and he then plays great ... Who ever you sign watch him play a few games before boasting about him .. Then make your mind up ... It's allways a risk no matter how much he costs ... Some of our players who are doing well I'd never bloody heard of before ..,NP will still get your team into the play offs ... Plenty of time yet .. Come play off final day it's going to be Hull City v Leicester City ..
I would like to see Danns in for Wellens on Saturday. It's obvious from his twitter post last night that Dannsy is p1ssed off so let's give him his chance in centre midfield and also give Wellens a sit on the bench.
danns was quality for palace in the centre, very box to box. him and wellens i would like to see, harsh on abe though. bbit harsh on gallagher earlier- at least he looks to shoot. I like him. We need pacey wingers and soon!!
I would love to see danns, fernades, abe and gally on sat. Cant wait for waghorn to be fit cause i would replace beckford with waghorn in a heartbeat. Watching the game yesterday, apart from the one good touch, beckford had no fire in his belly, didnt chase balls, lost possesion WAY to easily. It would have been fine had yesterday been the only game he didnt play well then fair enough... But he is consistantly poor
I think people are very harsh on Gallagher Only player who will shoot, take a decent corner or free kick and the only player who puts in a decent cross He tries to make things happen unlike people like King, Beckford
Abe isn't good enough imo, once he receives the ball, he goes static, there were several oppertunities where he could have dribbled into an acre of space in front of him, hes not at all creative. Beckford isn't a target man, he likes balls played into his feet, so why Kasper and Mills were launching them to him was beyond me.
