Good riddance if he does - gave him enough chances and has done nothing.

Would prefer Fuctacs and Schlupp over him as backup forwards, hell I'd even prefer Waghorn - at least they seem to give half a **** and have a willingness to work for the team.

I know its emotion, but you would not prefere Waghorn.

Why are they saying this though? If we stopped it then we want him, they should not be talking about another teams player.

Waghorn gives a crap but doesn't have the skill to back up the effort - Beckford is the opposite.

Huddersfield probably are saying this after watching Beckford's performance on Sat - NP would be more likely now to let him go.

Waghorn is a bigger waste of money IMO.

Both cost around 2-3m and what has Waghorn done since we signed him? A last minute fluke against Bristol City is all I can remember.

From what it says he wants to work with Grayson again. I hoped he would stay, but no turning back now.We need a back up though and it has to be a loan now.We have missed Sharpe,Kane and Cox. Just hope NP has someone in mind?

I'm almost certain we pulled the plug because of no replacement rather than a u-turn. But who could we realistically get do you feel?

We'd probably be looking at someone like Chris Wood at West Brom? Scored goals last season for Brum in this league. Trouble is the best loan options have been taken already. I can't believe we weren't aware of the Sharp situation given we tried to sign him but I think he probably went there because of O'Driscoll.

    Heskeys still available

my preferred choice would be Le Fondre - led to believe he may well be available on loan shortly. If not Jamie Mackie would be very useful

So we need a new player to take his (JB) place ???

Are we good enough (as we are now) to go up this season ???

Do we need to trade in the loan market ???

If so who & what positions ???

Will we get a 25,000 + crowd at the KPS this season ???

Is it me or is LCFC abit thin on the ground in terms of a squad & it´s quality ???

Should I have brown bread with my salad tonight or white ??? :emoticon-0108-speec

    No we don't

    Yes...just about.

    Maybe.

    I'd prefer a CB.

    Of course.

    It's you.

Brown. Unless you don't like it.

Nope - have too many strikers tbh with Nugent, Vardy, Fuctacs, Waghorn, Hopper and Harry P (scored against Leeds not going to try to spell his surname).

Based on our performances, yes but we need to turn those performances into wins like we did against Blackpool.

Yes we do - to get rid of deadwood like Gallaghar, Beckford and maybe Danns and bring in fullbacks and maybe a CB.

LB and RB for definite, CB maybe and an experienced head - is there another Powell or Solano around or are we getting Heskey for that role...

If we get wins then yes - sadly people won't come to support us if we are struggling mainly due to the price.

Individual maybe a bit thin but good teams do really well - look at Reading.

If you are having a salad, you might as well go the whole hog and go down the healthy route and have brown.

We know Waggy is a good player. It weather we can bring it of him again. I think a short term loan to a league 1 club would do everyone the world of good. Waggy can get some games and hopefully some form

I'm confused with Beckford. Obviously as a non-Leicester fan, I don't see him every game but from what I've heard and seen, he's a great striker. Is it just his attitude towards the game? Or does he just not look interested to be a Leicester player?

It's confusing because to me, it seems as though he would be a star striker at any Club or is Nugent better?

I am of the opinion Beckford is a great striker however Leicester have not figured out the best way to use him and Pearson doesn't strike me as a manager that would be willing to change any sort of set-up or vision he has in his head to accommodate for players so I think its just a matter of the wrong player at the wrong club

I think he is a good finisher - but he has an average (if not relatively poor) first touch that lets him down in his general play and a questionable work ethic - when things are going his way and he is getting plenty of chances made for him he is effective .. but his weaknesses probably mean he will never make it in the premier league (as David Moyes seemed tio diuscover pretty early on at Everton) .. he was behind Yakubu then and having had them both at this club it is obvious why that was ..

I think you'll find he actually did alright for his first prem season. Made a lot of sub appearances but still managed 10 goals for em. Some of them were very good goals as well, think he woulda done better in his 2nd season

It's not about what Beckford does or doesn't bring. As a team player he offers very little to nothing

Vardy, Nugent, Futacs, Waghorn and Schlupp all work for the team. Beckford doesnt

But then that' not what he does. You pair him with a striker who does the dirty work, e.g. Becchio, and watch him bang them in.

He's certainly a decent player but no more imo.

He fluffs a lot of good chances considering he's supposed to be such a good finisher. His first touch is at best poor, often woeful.

I'd also question his decision making abilty at times.

He's certainly a useful option but unfortunately he was handed a ridiculous, unsustainable contract which will ultimately decide his fate with us.
