My mate at work went to this on friday gone at St. James and he told me a few of the things that were said in response to fan questions:

- Cabaye was the best player he's seen for years from what he's seen of him so far in training.

- When asked who he thinks the future of the team will be he said that Shane Ferguson and Haris will go all the way but the one thats destined for the biggest things is none other than Flame haired apprentice sparky michael richardson, currently on load at leyton orient.

- Contrary to popular belief Marcelino was a fantastic player and was desperate to play despite being injured but Sir Bobby just never fancied him as a player. Marcelino supposedly went as far having his lawyer draw up a contract saying that he wouldn't sue the club if he were to end up losing a limb playing for the team such was his desire for a game under robson. supposedly pedro makes a point of telling that to anyone who asks because he says the truth is very different compared to what people think regarding old broken finger.

- he apparently deflected most questions regarding ashley but he did say that he can see the positive effects his behind the scenes financial management is having on the club putting them back on track with regards to balancing the books.

 

apparently no-one cares.

...oh well.

 

I think Pedro has a crush on Cabaye. Can't blame him.

I also can't get over Marcelino having ambition... After years of piss taking it's a hard concept to take in.

 

yeah apparently he always makes the point to fans when asked because he reckons the perception is totally unfair on a lad that was really desperate for a game and in pedros opinion a canny tidy player.

My view is Pedro is honest............it's great that he thinks Cabaye is class............

i do regularly, but only because it would never make it back to those in charge.

 

Hope Pedro is right about Cabaye and the youngsters.

 

Interesting stuff, if Pedro thinks Richardson is going to go to the very top we may have exciting times ahead indeed! Lets just hope the flame haired lad wont be interested in £££ if he does end up a top player.
