I think as good neighbours all of us who have the time and a little spare cash should go and support pompey on there next home match. I really mean this as a friendly gesture after all those 100,000 "pompy fans" who have the badge showing on there lilos, hi-viz jackets and car stickers will start to look silly and people from outside of the south of England will start to doubt they are the biggest, best and well supported club in Hampshire! they might just be seen as fair weather fans who were only along for the ride while they bought success in the premiership! Not me thought I still believe they are all great and its just the ticketing policy at falling down park that is stopping the mighty blue army from turning up in there droves to cheer along the side that they would follow to the ends of the earth I would love to go down there in a couple of weeks time myself but due to my commitments supporting the Saints through thick and thin, in any league I really feel my time would be better spent going to the Saints Derby game, but for all you who have the time on your hands get down there and help out the cow sheders, and if just half of our average home crowd were to go with you that would be enough to double there gate! And charity always makes you feel great and you might just see something very rare indeed..... A pompey win and how many will be able say they saw that this season!
I already do my bit by not texting my Pompey-supporting brother after every Saints win...my texting finger got tired.
Sadly its beginning to look as if they are beyond help if they were an animal you'd take them to the vet and have them put down.
LOL - i saw a work colleague skate at SMS yesterday! He was spending his hard earned cash at our place (in the away end) so maybe you are right, maybe we should reciprocate??
Excellent gesture..! But If I haven't got a moment to go to St Mary's there's fat all chance of me making it to Fratton Park. Mind you, I'm probably in a rarefied category of Saints supporters in having actually having gone there before - and not when Saints were playing Pompey either.
