Hi all. I've created a new football forum called BCFT (Bristol City Fans Talk) I'm still 100% behind this forum and trying to make it grow, I wanted to create this new forum so its just a place for us city fans and to use this to gain experience. Would really appreciate it if people would sign up and help me get that forum up and going. Here's the link. Please tell me what you think and please sign up and leave a message in there Cheers http://bcft.freeforums.org/index.php
Thanks For Joining Budgie Just having a little play around with it at the moment, It will look different in a short while
Hopefully more sign up. Have a little play around with it Budgie. If you could comment just so I know new members can that would be great Also how easy and fast was it to sign up?
signing up was easy enough, infact it was nice to be able to read the code thingy thing for a change (no squiggly letters to try and work out what they are)!!!!!!
Could you give it a try JGF? Would like it if I could get our more senior members on there as It will help me attract more members if the site is more active
What would be good would be a site where we can have 'crossthreads' with articles/games which both sets of supporters can use without it descending into abuse and inanities.
I can add that into my forum if enough from your side would want it. Would be another sub category. City - Rovers
Isn't it a bit like duplication of the Not606 site? What would we say on your site that is different to this one? Or do you expect contributors to have different points of view depending on whichever site they're using? Seems like yet another complication to the simple life. Sorry Shiny. PS; you said for City fans and yet the Gas are already joining in!
Happy to back off What I think this not606 site is lacking is the opportunity to have crossthreads to which both fans could contribute. The match coming up on Wednesday is an ideal example.
Slightly different in the fact that there are sub categories, Bristol City Talk, where it's all about City, without being interrupted by threads spiralling out of control into banter. General Talk, for just having a laugh and generally be kids City v Rovers, as above but with rovers posters as well. I suspect they will go onto the general talk pages as well. That's what I see of it
CJS post links on one of the boards before to act as a cross thread I think it worked not as great as cross thread but it was something.
I can remember when we had cross threads and chaos was the boss, the good thing about not having them is people come on to our board by invitation and not right, the idiots are controlled and contributors are not baited and angered by pointless verbal thuggery.
