Watching the Breakfast show today I noticed that at long last the BBC achieved their aim of equality. Both presenters - female. Sport News - female. Business News - female. Weather forecaster - female. Local News - female. Equality for women at last!!

Ironic that after championing equality you reduce the presenters to figures to lust over.

You really do take life too seriously at times. Championing equality? Is 100% domination by one gender equality?

Loads of TV programmes like Newsnight you frequently see all male line-ups. Want to get on your Soap-box about that too 1950?

Well speaking as a red blooded hetrosexual male, IMO the more bints on the TV the better especially if they're attractive with ample bosoms

Bloody hell. One minute I'm being frivolous - now I'm on my soapbox!! To be fair programmes like Newsnight only usually have one presenter and Kirsty Alsop is certainly not male!! The BBC said they were aiming for equality and, to me, all of one gender is not equality although I hold the old fashioned view that people should be in jobs because of their knowledge and talent and not because of their gender. Today on the Breakfast show there were 3 male and 2 female and, just to upset Carrabuh, anybody else had naughty thoughts about the young lady who did the business news?

If you want to see equality... watch the Australian News girls....wow... I have no idea what they are talking about other than the one on SBS who looks like a frog, the rest however... wow!

I have to say that on the whole I am heartily sick of the BBC and the equality b*llocks. They have tried it with sports hosting and football summarising and the female contingent are largely woeful. Gabby Logan couldn't host a dinner party let alone a sports programme and none are a patch on people like Pougatch, Chapman etc. They'll be championing disabled presenters next and Afro-Caribbeans, for what? To me, the best person should get the job, everything else is just fluff.
