SPL can not afford to lose Rangers - Strachan Strachan, who won three SPL championships in his spell in charge at Parkhead , was also praiseworthy of the Rangers manager Ally McCoist, who he believes has had the most difficult job of any previous manager of the big two. "He is a strong minded character, but he has also got a sense of humour to see him through things. You need that," he said. "They don't show you that in coaching courses or in the management course. He's had as hard a job as any Old Firm manager's had with what's been going on. He's handled it well because he's had to answer questions on every subject." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17940110 I like Gordon strachan, always have done and I probably always will. I liked him before he was Celtic manager and I always supported him when he was the Celtic manager, in fact if I had my way he would still be our manager. However... "He's had as hard a job as any Old Firm manager's had with what's been going on" That's just bullshit i'm afraid. You may also spot BBC's "Misquote" of what they think Strachan said. "Ally McCoist, who he believes has had the most difficult job of any previous manager of the big two". Strachan never actually said that in fairness but what he has said is nonsense nevertheless. McCoist is obviously under tremendous pressure with the events at Rangers but at the end of the day his biggest worry was losing his job. That really pales into insignificance when you look at what Neil Lennon has been through.
Did anyone else hear the crap spouted by the two commentators on Sky last night on the THEM v DU game. Now Neil was quite rightly complimented by the media over his chance in team structure for the 3-0 hammering. Then we hear the two pundits on Sky proclaiming that Sally has changed his team layout and it has worked wonders. Bollox. Seemed the same to me. The reason rfc won was because DU didnt turn up and they should be ashamed of themselves. First goal the keeper was rooted to the spot and then went down in instalments. Next two goals there was no attempt to tackle, in fact the defence almost stood aside. Clowns absolute clowns in the Scottish media.
We should try get that word in the dictionary. Meaning: something totally incredulous that can only happen in Scotland.
Dundee Utd were a disgrace last night. They were afraid Sandy Jardine would name them as one of the clubs who had wronged Rangers. Luckily for them, the referees won't have anything to worry about. As far as McCoist is concerned, not only was he quaranteed his job to the season end, because he promised he would work for nothing. He, unlike Neil Lennon seems to have been guaranteed impunity from SFA charges as he has made the most belligerent comments ever made by a Manager in the SPL and appear to be above charging.
Funny how sfa have pushed through Lennon's punishment , but Rangers charge of sectarian singing in the Kilmarnock game is still there unchallenged.
Oh it did happen , you got charged , were the sfa hoping your club would die and forget about it ??? Seeing the sfa / spl have made up rules to keep your club breathing , they will have to act
It was ironic that they didn't get charged with attempted murder as it was down to their complete incompetence - another instance were the word 'hunbelievable' would be appropriate
Another sectarian bigot joins the bigot board. Why don't you **** back off to bed with your mum ya fkin rimtard ****
