No real surprises tonight, Celeste's rendition of Smile made my eyes water a bit though. But the main question has to be what on earth did Klopp have on his feet? Did he forget his shoes? Somebody had to lend him a pair? Wtf?
The effort put in by the likes of Kevin Sinfield, Captain Tom, Marcus Rashford and others is laudable. Well done all of 'em.
Cannot watch it these days. Getting the same about MOTD, especially the Sunday edition. What is it with leeds and these commentators ? 'millions watching in living rooms all over the world, this clash between the two united's....' 'How we've missed this clash between the red devils and the yorkshire rose, the last one being 19 years ago.....' 'It could have been ten eight...' ( repeated about six times) although leeds only had three shots at goal. Gush, gush, about leeds and how good they are. But they forgot to remind up where they are in the league and I don't remember a similar love fest when we went to OT and lost 4-3, and were the first team to score twice there for about 50 games. Also cannot listen to Dion Dublin without thinking of Homes Under the Hammer.
I've never rated people that describe themselves 'the people's champion'... That's Trump like narcissism imho....
Mmmmmmm.Dion 'dry rot' Dublin.Does he really deserve to be 'slated' ? I'm not trying to' paper' over the 'cracks' here and I'm certainly not 'skirting' the issue but as someone said several weeks ago Dion knows a good damp patch when he sees one!!!!
Can’t watch motd either The unbearable smugness of lineker puts me off for a start. But for someone who has loved football since I could kick a ball, I couldn’t care less about it anymore.
Can't stand how they tolerate players diving/falling in the box as being a penalty. I won't watch any other football any more..... Its not entertaining, it's a feast of action replays and pundits saying how a long haired, shaped eyebrowed player is doing his job by going down when he feels contact.... I always thought you had to be fouled.
Agreed Martin Tyler must have said in three different occasions yesterday. He took one for the team, actually he fouled him Martin, and as a commentator you should be highlighting it not condoning it.
They actively praise players for 'winning' penalties and free kicks. It used to be called cheating when the game had more morals.
Usually they only call it 'winning' a penalty when a Brit does it. They're more likely to question it when a dirty rotten foreigner dives.
Yes, if only our commentators were unbiased and fair minded like every country outside of Britain is when commentating on their teams playing 'foreign' opposition.
