Bradley Wiggins for me, done something no one in the country has done before. Plus didn't he say he would do it in 5 years to do it in 3? Really tough call because I liked Murray and Farrah as well. One question Wiz who's Roy McIlroy, is he that fantastic golfer's brother? another one who deserves it as well. If you done teams I would be ****ed, I could not split Team GB Olympics Team GB Paralympic's Team Europe (don't know if they will be classed as not all British) but their comeback was remarkable. I was there live for final day 2010 but the final day this year was fantastic when we all thought just watch the first few holes then captivated by their comeback to spank the Yanks
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rory_McIlroy I'm not knoledgeable enough on golf to answer you,so I've wiki'd him ...... Edit....Got it spelt his name wrong on the poll.........Sorry lads....
Agree with that ROD. Ryder cup final day was the sports event of the year in a year that contained so many great moments..
Its clear that it will be a male winner but I would love to see Sarah Storey win, as the Paralympian dont get as much attention and she is probably the greatest Paralympian of ALL time winning gold medals in multiple sports (more golds than any other British Sports person at this olympics).
Id rather watch Henry Kelly presenting "Going For Gold" on repeat that some of them sports. upmost respect for boxers - Nicola Adams.
Its between Mo Farah and Andy Murray My cash is on The Murray, but could go either way with Wiggins in third. ROD - wasn't he the golfer in the film Tin Cup, as played by Kevin Costner Art imitating life, or rather predicting it
McIlroy for me - World number 1, major championship, integral part of the Ryder Cup victory, won both money lists in America and Europe Sod the Olympics!
