Why Bristol City should feel optimistic under the guidance of Sean O'Driscoll - the man cast aside by Nottingham Fores. The new season will be very interesting indeed. SoD will have his team playing his way. Hopefully nice to see some decent football with players giving 100% fighting for the cause. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21341272
RR I get the impression that you really hate SOD. You rarely back him and are constantly on his back. To be honest its about time you got behind him!
Lan i wanted Del gone no doubt about that,I wanted Millen gone,I wanted,Tinnion gone,Did not want Coppell and wanted SOD back then. I have full confidence in the man to sort our football club out after so much crap over the past 4/5 years.
So in other words the last 4 out of 5 managers you have wanted out? Went to read that link, noticed the date and thought what's the point of reading something saying is he our saviour, meaning will he keep us up when the answer was NO. You must really like SoD to trawl back through months of BBC sports pages to find that. Just for your information as well, I work with a season ticket holder at Florist who told me he's a good manger, but concentrates to much on the opposition, and also struggles with plan B. Strange really but this is just what I have seen the past 4-5 months.
To be fair on this score he didn't have much time in charge at Forest to make a plan B he got the team playing well enough with plan A to get them back up almost into the playoff places.
Blimey mate, give it a rest about SoD, you harp on about how good he is, and going to be our saviour, well he had 20 games, almost half a season, got us out of the relegation zone at one time, and then it all went tits up. We ended up so far adrift in the end it was embarrassing, if the man is that good, should be a formality next season, you must have a bundle on him, i wont be.
Yet he now has two relegations on his CV. Doncaster and City. Next season will show how good he is. At present this jury member is still undecided.
Only one Cider, he was sacked before Doncaster went down Dean Saunders took them down. I have no doubt he is a good manager, and for one glad he is here. But with his insistence that Killkenny is a key player for us I do worry.
