The BBC and the National Football Museum want to commemorate great football commentaries and want our suggestions, let's make sure that QPR get represented.

    I've posted the following

    14th May 2003
    Loftus Road
    QPR v Oldham
Division 2 Play Off Semi Final

The Radio London commentary of Paul Furlong bursting through the Oldham defence to score the only goal of the match still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Other clubs have got larger grounds with a higher capacity, but few can match the atmosphere of a floodlit match at Loftus Road. You can hear the ground rocking throughout the rest of the commentary and erupting at the final whistle.
