http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28778605 So most people put us 4th, nobody put us higher than that and a few put us out of the top 4 all together. Let's prove these idiots wrong!
well we proved the idiots wrong last season. not so sure this season just yet, but hope we can at least maintain top4.
I also don't see what the fuss is with the Chavs. So they bought a striker, a striker who has managed one good season so far and what happens if he get injured? Other than that they bought a LB to replace Cole and a misfit Central midfielder who couldn't make it with Barca. People talk about Citeh not buying alot, but they bought the same amount as Chavski (including fat Franks dodgy loan) and could now field two teams that are well capable of finishing top 4. I see Citeh winning it again and making it further in Europe this season.
Someone on TalkSport earlier had this... 1) Chelsea 2) Man City 3) Arsenal 4) Everton 5) Man Utd 6) Liverpool 7) ??? 8) ??? 9) Spurs Yes, he was a Everton fan too!!!
I don't think Mourinho has the ability to beat City. Too many potential wins will be draws because of Park Ji Sung, the Bus.
What I find astonishing is every pundit comment/review I have seen about Everton involves. They all say something about making massive strides and making a big statement by signing Lukaku adding that them spending £28m on one player is massive and they should be looking to challenge for the top four with an outlay like that. Yet, they all fail to recognise that they had the same player on loan last season so they've effectively spent £28m to stand still!
Apart from a CB City dont need to sign. They signed a CB, a GK, a CM and cleared a few surplus players. Chelsea lack spark. I cant see Costa bossing it in the EPL. Aguero is much better suited. They lack spark in midfield, like City have in Silva, us in Coutinho. They do however have a solid defense. Fabrigas is no big deal. He's good but wont improve them.
Dion Dublin Man Utd Chelsea Man City Liverpool John Motson Man Utd Chelsea Man City Liverpool Can we all laugh now?
Boring as usual as to be expected! In regards to Chelsea I think they are the team that are most strengthened compared to last season. Their problem was upfront and they've bought in 2 quality attacking players, gutted we didn't bid on Costa. Now just got to get Moreen to be less boring! Man City have the best team in the PL without a doubt, I think they under performed last year, but will they this year? Arsenal have improved also but they were a little behind last season don't know if they have done enough to challenge but if they manage to keep their first team fit you never know. Liverpool have lost Suarez, but strengthened the squad to compete in the CL. Lovren is a massive signing and if we can get a sable defensive pairing going then we might not need to be so deadly in attack. Sturridge won us more points than Suarez last season and I think there are more potential goals in the midfield now that he's gone. Utd have really got to make some signings, they have lost Evra, Rio and Vidic and only bought Shaw a vast weekending of their defence. Van Gaal must not make the same mistake as Moyes in trying to get the best players and end up signing no one. If united sign some CB's they might have a chance to make top 4 if Van Gaal can get the attack going, but I'm not convinced, for me they will miss out. My top 4 Liverpool City Chelsea Arsenal
