Hmmmm. I just waded through all the remaining games and tried hard to be more objective, less subjective. I had three teams finishing on 37 points; Southampton, Villa and the Hoops, with Villa going down and the Rs surviving on goal difference by the skin of their teeth. Saints landed up in 16th. I have a feeling the the Newcastle game on 12th May will be massively important, as we won't quite have done enough by then. There will be results that don't go the way we hope. I'd take survival on GD if it was offered right now.
I have us finishing well above that it won't be that tight I am sure We get something from Villa then we are on our way as other results I can't see going anything but our way . I still see Norwich and Fulham being sucked into it plus Wigan can go tits up any moment It's great being QPR at this moment
Hard as it sounds; winning the two games of AV and Wigan is still incredibly important because of points we take away from those teams as much as anything.
Was glad those 3 goals Wigan scored in 4 mins yesterday against Everton were only in the FA Cup and not the League. I would prefer to see Wigan playing as they did in their 0-4 home League loss to Liverpool last weekend.
I did the predictor before the Swans game and we are two points further ahead since I had us down for a draw there. The key date for me us7.4.13. Where we are on that day will largely determine our fate IMO.
