How long did we get on Staurday? 30 seconds at most. If I hadn't been, I would have thought it was an awful match. You wouldn't have thought we were well on top. None of Belaid's skill was on view. Nothing of Stewart. Not one of the times Fryatt scared Leon Cort to death. They even missed the fresh air kick by the Preston player when he should have scored.

How much time did Leeds get? I know they are on a roll too but the coverage doesn't seem equal. The BBC only seemed interested in Phil Brown's return. The side show became the main circus for them.

Still, it was a very good performance in the first half and an adequate one in the second. I was never convinced Preston woud pull it back but it would have been good to have wrapped it up after 45 minutes. I really liked Belaid. He just needs to know when to give the ball to Fryatt or McLean more.

I enjoyed paasing the very subdued Prerston coaches on the way home too.

It takes the piss it really does, the edits are always ****!
My man of the match was Stewart, although he could do with some work on his passing, but Gerrard thoroughly deserved it given his goal and the cs. You should have read the write up in the mirror RE belaid, they gave him mom and spent the entire two columns worshipping him,i was half expecting the name of the author to say T.Belaid. He looked decent, but still gonna have to work hard if he wants to maintain a place in the team. In my opinion we were getting overrun in the midfield too much and although we'vegot the skill and the pace, i reckon we could have bossed the game a bit more with (sorry...) Harper in the midfield.

I agreed with Gerrard getting MOM but I thought Dawson pushed him close. Has the armband improved him?

Conspiracy theory abound. I think the BBC have something against Hull City, viewing us as that little, upstart club from the frozen north. Then when we're back in the premier league they'll be all over us like a rash. Set of patronising, Southern based bar-stewards.

They pre-select which games will be their featured match which is wrong; it ought to be done after the matches are played on merit of how entertaining they were. But I seriously don't agree that Leeds have been given special treatment this season on the FLS; we usually get 30 seconds to a minute of footage and in fact there have been complaints on many Leeds boards about how few highlights are shown. In general I just wish they'd show less of Claridge's inane nattering and more of the football we're all watching the show to see.

Sorry, Il Duce. I didn't mean across the season, just this week. I agree completely about Claridge. Have you noticed how the prrsenters are beginnning to pretned that they knew we'd do well all along?

No prob Tigger, it's something I've encountered outside this thread though. (Mainly from Sheffield United fans who also think there's some kind of conspiracy at Yorkshire Television to erase all mention of non-Leeds sporting teams).

It's always the unattractive northern clubs, it's a complete joke.

It would certainly be interesting to see a tally of which teams have been picked in the feature game this season. I'm guessing it will be along the lines of the live BBC games...

Found it a little offensive when they showed a game live (think it was Leeds v Cardiff or QPR) and then also had it as the feature match in the evening. What's that all about?!?

How did he get work as a player? I'm not seeing any difference in the reviews in him as a pundit or a player.

Don`t expect any favours from the Beeb, bunch of over hyped to55ers in particular Claridge, the man is a complete and utter prick, his evaluation of games is senseless drivvle. Claridge was a journeyman footballer who managed to poach a few goals and lives of this reputation. Most critics on the telly though to be fair couldn`t hack it as managers, and have gone for the easy earner, sittin there and givin poxy opinions, and being very careful not to fall out with the so called `bigger` clubs. Claridge, Shearer, Hansen. Lawrenson...... sh1t `em.
