After reading the story, sorry "article", it just briefly mentions that they would prefer to arm the Police rather than sending in the Army, "which could not be contemplated"....(fair enough). Seems the BBC now condone the use of sensationalism and misleading headlines. On a side note, I'd be happy if a lot more cops were armed (given proper vetting, training) etc.
