The B B C is a bit like CITY.. they have something good then screw it up ... it was a delight to click on the game and see the team, the text and the game stats as a rolling presentation SO obviously a jobsworth has been at work and segregated it all into 3 sections ... absolutely C R * P ..... also today the presentation was all over the place, one minute showing different times and different scores for different times ....
Didn't include attendances either when the previous site gave you live text, team and attendance. That's assuming we're both talking about BBC Sport live. On another subject - you think the BBC is bad but you don't have to watch American sport coverage and today I recorded the Australian Open Women's Final and the recording ended in the 3rd set with the score @ 3-2 without explanation. Luckily the game's shown again later and we now want to enter the match at the same score as where the recording ended so we will turn on the telly @ 10:30 pm PST. Excited States of America EH.
Not only that, but they have stopped iPlayer being available to foreign nationals (i.e. I live in France and now can't use it. How narrow minded, unhelpful and non-sensical) Actually they are more like the Tories than the football club
They give the attendance at the end of the team listings before and now, usually 15 mins into second half .... a really good site screwed up ... ..
Getting rid of BBC3 is a big joke. Best channel on TV Murdoch has ****ing corrupted arselicker Cameron Guess Cameron likes being up pigs arse's
Bloody hell, Cameron will be sending our subs out to sea to protect us without any weapons soon, like the other thick Muppet..
What has Murdoch got to do with BBC 3 being sold? The reason why BBC 3 is being sold is to do with licence fee not balancing the books. Without resorting to get advertising they've had to make cuts nothing to do with Murdoch or Cameron as they was talking about this for years.
When it comes to streaming I-player it seems to be selective as to what I can see, but most times unavailable. CBC is even worse overseas and never plays. P.S. Don't get me started on what is so wrong about most things today especially electronics and cars. Who was the bright spark that decided that my BMW needs to stop the engine when the car comes to a stop? Didn't anyone tell them that most damage done to an engine is at start up? I know I'll start another thread about it to take our minds off other things.
Used to do that Mike but not no more, was explained to me and will take a while to explain but technically the engine does not stop completely so something is still engaged.
The BBC is in direct competition with sky. Only the BBC is better value for money. BBC and its budget due to being controlled by the government in its licence fees is being done so that the BBC is reduced in its resources. Murdoch owns media and media wins elections. Murdoch and his scummy phone hacking gang make a pact with Cameron which allows positive PR in exchange for things that make it easier for Murdoch to make money. Underfunding the BBC is one of those
Are you off your ****ing head? BBC main competition is ITV not everyone has Sky platform and across the country you would be surprised how small it is.
No it's not because it can't be shown in this country without a BBC licence. Sky is funded by advertising like ITV. Facebook showed the other day what advertising earns when it touched 12 billion. That's what's preventing the BBC from funding BBC three. If it took in advertising it would be more competitive but it sells on no advert breaks so relies on licence fees.
I'm not saying that sky is battling with the liscence fee but that the value for money the BBC provides puts people off spending extra money on sky. Also Sky competes with the BBC for contracts to air certain programmes and sport and so by deflating the budget of BBC sky can make more money
It's business and if it wants to compete it has two options. Put the licensing fee up or introduce advertising. It's a ****ty corporate run load of bollocks that capitalises on not giving the public a choice. If you have a TV in your house it charges you so it's another tax. Which before you shout your normal ooh the Tories are to blame (I'm not a Tory voter) it's been in existence since tv was in. At least that nasty man who obviously makes upset gives the customer choice, if you want it you pay for it and you can also pay for what level you want it to.
I believe that the BBC is envied by a lot of the world. Im sure that the BBC does not have control of the lisence fee and isn't allowed to advertise. A £20 rise in lisence fee could easily solve money problems. Also Murdoch is an interfering prick with low morals and is a perfect example of the nastiness of capitalism.
