If you have the time to do it, you may just see where we might end up if the results go accordingly - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/predictor/default.stm
Waddo I just did next weekends res as I see them and we're still 11th BUT only FOUR pt's behind Wigan with a better goal diff. I'm too worried to do the whole set of fixtures and, I think? the next 2 or 3 res overall we'll know where we are for next season. Just saying
I did it and it looks like this; 15th Sunderland -12 40 points 16th Wigan - 22 40 points 17th Stoke - 17 39 points 18th Villa -28 39 points 19th QPR -21 36 points 20th Reading -27 26 points My results were: Everton (Away Loss) 0-2, Villa (Home Draw) 1-1, Man U (Home Loss) 0-3, QPR (Away Loss) 0-2, Norwich (Home Win) 1-0, Sunderland (Away Loss) 1-2, Spurs (Home Draw) 2-2, Southampton (Away Loss) 0-2.
Scary Smithers!!!! I saw a few people that had done it too and some had us in 18th place :-( and down!! Unless we get a lucky unsuspecting result somewhere I really feel this is going to be a close one this season! I'm hoping also that Man U maybe already champions by the time they come to play us and put out the reserve side!
The problem is it's the silly part of the season where a couple of unusual results happen every week, we'll know what we need to do with 4 games left and need to concentrate on our own results and getting rid of Pulis rather than anything else.
Waddo Right now Utds U18s side would beat us... I think Jowler is right though, we'll know before the last 4 games what we (do need) to stay up.
My forecast for the entire season puts us in 14th place with 37 points. Now this might appeal to some of you who are twitching nervously , but I have to tell you , I am hopeless at forecasting.
Smither's HAD we won on Saturday we would be on 36pts which seemed to be classed as SAFE re pundits and the Fulham result yesterday. I'm certain 37 would see us safe then again we only survive on goal diff is another story.. dreading it tbh. U Spoilt US with bells on.
Well i'm half expecting things to turn good and Pulis to use the euphoria to stay as manager, the thing i will remember tho is that he has engineered this, for whatever reason, i don't know if he's sulking because he couldn't spend the money he wanted to or he's trying to reset our expectations or anything else, but he has made this happen and i'll never believe a word he says again.
12. Norwich 42 Points 13. Wigan 42 Points 14. Southampton 40 Points 15. West Ham 40 Points 16. Stoke 38 Points 17. Sunderland 37 Points 18. Aston Villa 37 Points 19. QPR 35 Points 20. Reading 27 Points I thought I might of been harsh on you but looking at this thread, maybe not.... (it was 2 relegated from 7 possible clubs on the last day, we can all look forward to that )
