'Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill on his side's late win over the Premier League leaders: "We knew we were going to have withstand ferocious pressure from Manchester City. We did it and we did it remarkably well. To win this game considering the situation we found ourselves in this morning is incredible."'
BBC2,,,MOTD,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Different set up to Linekers /scouse/jock/shearers forty thousand plus expenses biast bilge.
BBC do hate us... and I ****ing hate the BBC.....said for years shouldn't be taxed (robbed) with a licence fee. If I had the choice I wouldn't pay and do without the ****e soaps, and ****ing 300 programmes about antique rubbish. And that Graham Norton bloke,,,,,,I 'd love to shove a baseball right up his ****ing arse....(although he may like that)
I also hate having to pay for the BBC partys, and as you said about the baseball bat, you will probably be right, just hate the fees they give to Shearer and the rest £40,000 per week plus expenses, for one ****in biased programme,,,,,,,MY ****IN MONEY.
I guess I'm the odd one out here - I love the BBC, I love that it's one of the least biased news sources in the world still, I love that it does support minority interests and sponsors uncommercial programmes and provides a fist full of radio channels. I love Radio 4 and I'm proud that Britain still provides the World Service. I happily pay the BBC for a year what I likley spend on cable in a couple of months and I LOVE that we don't get adverts... believe me living in Canada for around 60% of the year makes you appreciate public television and radio with the quality of the BBC. That's not to say there aren't things that boil my piss... MotD being one of them... but Sky Sports News also takes avery facetious line when dealing with Sunderland. And while I'm no fan of Graham Norton I could list a lot of TV people I would expend a bullet on before him... not into the whole getting near his arse with a baseball bat thing though.
