    Is ****ing **** <ok>

Next time we SKY should takeover.

Cycling was impossible to follow, they didn't even know who was in what position for the first ****ing hour!!!

On top of that they kept on randomly changing it from BBC Three, BBC2, to the interactive channel, then back to BBC2 & eventually back to BBC1 without ****ing telling the audience.

Hope these bag of ****s don't get another major event again.

There's no need to switch channels. There are 48 BBC channels covering every event.

I don't get the road cycling, how come they let the breakaway pack get 6 minutes ahead before trying to pull it back?

Learnt a new word today: peloton.

GB thought they could still catch them........the plan was to get Cavendish near the front so he could sprint in and nick the win, sprinters are not good at climbing the hills etc so Wiggins, Froome & co couldn;t go too fast as Cavendish would have had nothing left for the finish.

GB messed up by pinning all their hopes on Cavendish, when the breakaway happened they should had a plan b to get a Froome or Wiggins in position.

Certain sporting events have to be free to air so SKY cannot get them like the World Cup and EUROs etc. I assume the Olympics also.

Yeah I know that, but just annoys me that they are allowed to provide us with **** coverage with no threat of taking things like this away from them.

Could ITV not get a chance to do it?

Dunno. They share the football but if it's up for bids the BBC have your money to bid with, and plenty of it.

That's because you're watching it on BBC2/BBC3 etc. Watch it on the dedicated BBC Olympic channels and you don't have that problem.

On Cable there's about 20 different BBC Olympic channels so you can watch whatever you like.

The red button seems to offer the choice of all current events, that's on a Sky box.

<laugh> It's a bit random at the moment as a lot of it is preliminaries and qualifiers - should be better once all the finals get under way. That's assuming, of course, you're interested in any of it!

Screw Sky - we're well on our way to a £100 per month tv bill and it's no better quality tv than what we had a few years back for £45 a month for full package. The ****ers are hoovering up media rights that used to be free, such as Horse Racing and Formula 1, then upping their bills to pay for it - while reporting record profit figures.

All while we get ****ed by the BBC and their TV Licence (despite having **** all content apart from 'I am a celebrity come dance with me on Ice Factor') and we don't even have a legal option to opt out of giving them ****s 15 quid a month.

The only thing worse than Sky and the BBC is ITV - it may have the saving grace of being free but it's entire scheduling is aimed towards 12-50 year old Females with an average IQ of about 80. Even when they accidentally acquire sporting rights such as the Champions League or World Cup (because they just happen to be a public broadcaster and get given these things) they put a ****ing women's tv presenter, Adrian Chiles, on to host it.

    <grr>

Fuck Sky. There would be adverts every 15 minutes and 'subtle' references to the Premiership all the time regardless of what sport was being shown.

The BBC has a lot of faults but it's the only one fit enough to show events like the Olympics (that doesn't mean I'm going to pay my licence by the way. Fuck 'em)
