It's just a pity they didn't analyse Micha Richard's blatant dive. please log in to view this image His legs were not together to it's only 5.9 6.0 6.0 6.0 5.9 from the judges So why didn't he get a yellow card for that?
WOW!!!!!!!! ..... great spot mate and very funny, kind of stops all the arguments doesn't it? That dive can only have come from practice can't it ...... he actually flings himself over with zero contact The funny thing is Bardsley's 'you ****ing dare' look at the linesman.
Its interesting looking at the Larsson one again. If Larssons leg had been on the floor there is a good chance Garcia would have ended up stamping on his ankle with his right foot at bit like Dossena vs Hull. I think the ref might have seen it as 2 players going in recklessly so choose not to ruin the game and book neither. Either way its a very difficult decision to make at that speed in a split second. Larsson was lucky but then again we deserve some luck this season. The Richards one is a disgrace.
It get's worse - no where near any contact and he's already going down. please log in to view this image
My Go, he's a yard away from any contact ......... the linesman was closer to Bardsley, than Richards, so how come he didn't see it and flag for diving?
I actually said this at the game - I was 130+ yards away from it and was screaming for him to be booked - but NOTHING was done - nothing mentioned about it and not even a word from the ref or linesman - but he's English and plays for city so is not a diver!
I'm getting a bit sick of all these negatives the press try to bring to the fore: Sunderland score with their only shot (lie) Bardsley fouled Milner (so?) Seb Larsson should have been sent off (debatable) Wahwahwahwahwah. No mention of Richards' spectacular dive. No mention of Aguero hacking Celustka down. Nothing. I don't want any love from the band wagon jumpers in the press I just don't want them lying about how we play. Other supporters (and players) who don't see the whole games take these reports as gospel and draw the wrong conclusions. Why don't the club take legal action against the likes of Sky for inaccurate reporting? on one page they report "Sunderland scored with their only effort of the game" and on the next page their own stats clearly show otherwise.
If this had been the other way round, there would have been a media witch hunt against our club for cheating, and it would have been freeze framed hundreds of times over on SSN and Match of the Day
