That would be hard, we all called the moderating, 3 min rule, 9 till 11 but many have not stayed here, maybe the old 606 had more of a following than we thought.
Each to their own I suppose. I hated the moderation over there but more because there was no redress than owt else. Once I was talking to a Spud who had the word Yid in his username yet they would not even allow me to call him by his u/n in my reply. I even spelt it out- why-eye dee but they still would not post it. I intensly dislike the BBC anyway as they are a waste of space to taxpayers money. They should be made to advertise the same as any other media outlet. So no Steve, I would not go back mate.

If you are not able to call a person by their name then what is the point? They should have not let him use that as his u/n in case he offended himself. It was like Soviet Russia over there.

I prefer this site, more relaxed moderation, easier interface etc. However, if the majority of people moved back, I would have no problem with going back to the BBC.
I never posted on the BBC site, just would read the comments etc, wasn't until not606 was set up did I decide to take the plunge and join. I personally can't stand the BBC. I hate the way it reports certain issues and think it's a total waste of taxpayers money.
Would stick with Not606 now as the BBC toe rags would be doing it because they can see there is a call/need for a forum like this and do a barcode or bandwagon jumping as we now know it. They stopped it because of cash restraints apparently yet can afford to pay celebs 1000s to dance around in dodgy outfits **** them. Not 606 Advantages........ On all day everyday Disadvantages............... not much bar the servers going down not the lads fault maybe that'll be sorted next time members only etc. BBC 606 Advantages....... none to mention Disadvantages................ 3 minute rule rabid mods (usually bitter barcodes) posting an innocent post just to have it removed because it was "off topic" twats.
I'd stay or go dependant on what certain other people on this site do. If the "good" posters left and "bad" posters stay I'd be off in a shot.
