Claridge normally criticised us when we were in the FL, fair play to him! Wish I was that optimistic, would be happy with 17th.
Really? I always thought that Claridge was very clued up on Saints. At times I'd say he actually heaped praise on us. Could regularly be seen at St. Mary's. Decent pundit.
Agree with this. Claridge actually watched our games, not just the highlights, and was often complimentary!

Sorry I'm with the others, can only remember him being effusive in his praise of us throughout the entire of last season.
He wasn't at the season's outset, from what I can remember, but he was one of the first real believers...and unlike some other commentators, he seemed to continue believing on the rare instances where our form dipped.
