Not too bad for someone who has been described as too big to play in The Football League. I happily admit i thought he was a joke signing but never has a player proved that i don't know what i'm talking about The Beast will go down as a legend i just hope he can break his record of 18 goals in a season.
I’m with mowgli, I thought he was a PR stunt and at best a last 10 minutes sub when we need to throw everything forward. How wrong can I be, he has led the line brilliantly over the last two seasons.
I am with you on this Cardiff-Wycombe & I would think the majority of Wycombe fans were of the same thought especially as Bayo did not start the first few games at the beginning of last season. I have to say if anybody has earned their wages over the last seasons it is Bayo with a lot of the shirt pulling & manhandling he has to put up with & just smiles
To be one of only two players from league 2 is some achievement. As I said before he always plays with smile even when he gets pulled & kicked all game
We could have signed him at one point in league 2 but decided not to. He came back to haunt us in the Wembley final by scoring a goal and playing out of his skin. Many many many Argyle greens said how they regretted him not coming our way. On a personal level I would not have turned him down as have always liked his goal scoring ability. Think he is a genuine bloke who really does play with a smile. Not sure about in league one though but then again what the feck do we know. I love players like him and they are few and far between.
Apparently Sunderland fans have identified bayo as their main transfer they would like to get done before the start of the new season.They see his leadership qualities as something that would help them get promoted.
Have had a quick look at the Sunderland & they reckon they are going to p*** league 1, looks like we will have to accept the runners up spot, with Plymouth & Pompey in the play-offs.
