Not the signing I wanted really, I feel this could detriment Kedwell's place in the team as he needs a real run of games to really get into form. If Mad Dog goes to play them together then that will probably be the strongest strike force in the league. I hope I'm proved wrong about us being drawn into the long ball game with Bayo and that he does make a real difference for us. Just have to get behind the lad and hopefully he will thrive.

However I wonder where Burton's future now lies...

I don't think Burton will stay now. Also I don't think there is a place for him now as Kedwell, Bayo and Burton competing for one place is 1 too many.

    Brilliant news!

Absolute quality player. Yes, he is a little similar to Kedders, but he is also waaaay better. I'm sure there is still a place for Danny as a squad player or even playing alongside Bayo (or in a deeper, attacking midfield role?).

This signing will look even better if we do manage to get Cody in eventually.

I disagree about his presence forcing a long-ball style - Bayo is better than most Lg1 strikers with his feet. We played long ball under Hess because Hess is a long ball manager.

who's that coming back over the hill?
    it's Adebayo......Akinfenwa!

No one will start every game (except in defence maybe ) I'm sure Ade will prove once again an experienced
and hard working squad member. Good luck old son...welcome back

MA seems to be showing his likeing for 'Brick....houses this year, what with the arrival of Ade & Amin.
Might explain why he got rid of Jackman and Payne?

Still no 'Fox in the Box' though, unless one of The Young Ones break through.

Can't argue constant proven goal scorer. Sign of intent with no real risk attached given it was a free. Glad to see that he wanted to come back as well says a lot about the club, it's personnel and its fans!
