Anybody watching the Bayern Munich v Barcelona. There destroying Barca 4-0, never seen this before. Must say tho the reff's are blind with giving Bayern two goals. The third goal well that was shocking!!!
I've got to say this game has made me doubt the honesty of the officials. The 3rd goal in particular...I just don't understand how a ref, a linesman and a 4th official stood yards away can possibly miss that. ....and WHAT has Schweinsteiger got to do to get a second yellow card? Stinks of corruption and depresses me if I'm honest.
Terror, I can't fathom how the hell the officials never gave a foul for that third goal. Fu5k me, the 4th official on the line god knows why their there Platini the knob!!! was three yards away and did nothing, when it was a clear barge on the Barca lad who didn't even have the bloody ball!!!
One offside goal, one that should have been disallowed and the first was a bit iffy as well. The Bayern player was climbing all over the defender to head it back for Muller. Looked at it several times now and both arms were over the shoulders of the defender so the guy couldn't jump. It was one of those that if the Swans scored it, I'd say it was fine but against us I'd be pretty pissed. The third goal though, was an absolute disgrace. No one can convince me that there isn't corruption at the highest level in football. Malaga are sure of it after what happened to them. Equally bad.
So Guardiola is off to challenge himself again I see... Refs were awful. What did Jordi Alba have to do to get sent off?
Sorry lads, can't really agree. This is the first match in several years where I saw officials not licking Barca's behinds. They say decisions equal themselves out over a season, this made up for four or five seasons. Bayern thoroughly deserved their four goal win and the only malicious play came from the spoilt Barca players at the end who spat their dummies out of their prams because another team had the cheek to show how how to play football.
Agree completely with you here . Barcelona have got away with so much **** in recent years it's unreal, but now all of sudden some decisions go against them and it's a conspiracy. Bayern were the better team by miles, even with Barca trying to bore them to death by passing sideways. Robben, Schweinsteiger(sp?), Muller and Ribery were brilliant on the counter. In fact I think it's the first time I've ever seen Ribery live up to the hype.
Actually, despite my misgivings about the goals, I do agree that Bayern were great and deserved the win - if not by that margin. Mind you, they also had a couple of decent penalty shouts turned down. There's no getting around that third goal though, it was a rancid decision right in front of the official. Stinks.
Agree with Project and dead here. The officials should be commended for their 'bravery' in not 'helping' Barcelona win a game as it's about time they were on the receiving end. As they say, swings and roundabouts, maybe they'll know how the Chelsea players felt a few years ago when the were blatantly 'screwed' by the officials against Barca.
ON THE BBC WEBSITE Uefa president Michel Platini wants officials' conversations in European matches recorded after a controversial goal in the Champions League semi-final between Bayern Munich and Barcelona. Thomas Mueller appeared to foul Jordi Alba before the German side's third goal in their 4-0 first-leg win. "I don't believe nobody saw the foul. Why was nothing said?" Platini asked. "I have asked the general secretary to record conversations between officials in matches involving five officials." The Europa League was the testing ground for games using five officials, which saw two extra assistant referees standing behind the goals and communicating by headset. It has since been extended to Champions League matches, and Platini says he wants to know why fouls were still being missed. The 57-year-old Frenchman said: "I understand the error of the referee who didn't see the foul by Mueller. "But there were three international standard referees involved and none of them saw it. Something is not right. "If the referee were on his own, he wouldn't have seen it, and two might not have seen it either but, between three, they have to see it."
