    Well that was a piss poor first half again. Fred looks as slow as a sloth, hope it is just lack of game time.

    I struggled to stay with it.

    Before the match I said I wanted to see
    a higher defensive line, outlets and movement ahead of the ball when we win possession, width to our play, numbers getting in the box... basically some attacking football.

    Then we did the exact opposite.

    Nah, 1-0 away to Bayern isn't an issue. It's the manner of it that was awful. I'd rather we lost 3-0 but played some football and created chances. At least that would give us some hope to take from it.

    This is the worst preseason enthusiasm that I can remember. It feels like start of June. Expectation couldn't have been lower and I can see us starting the season poorly with tons of lifeless draws. Mourinho is going to start losing the team.

    I think we'll win the opening two games and everyone will talk about us as title contenders... then the bus crash will happen.

    If we win like cowards, we will not be considered contenders. We would need to earn that right to be contenders. We have all the resources to be one. But sadly, the number one leader will continue to cry that he simply doesn't have enough and will transmit that negativity to the team eventually. Fosu is now gone on loan yet again and we are in the market for yet another defender. Always in the market for 5 new players every single season.

    We'll see how this shakes out.
