Noticed there's a battle of the stands going on on twitter, had my best times in the lower loft when it was standing! Had season ticket in upper loft for a while after that. Last few years spent getting random tickets all over, but I'm a loft boy at heart! What does everyone else think?
I've sat and stood all around the ground through the years. I used to love standing behind the goal in the loft in the eighties. It's now where my S/T is.
Based on where I had the best time - upper loft, P block. I had the front row, corner seat for 2 or 3 years around the time of the Oldham game. Really good bunch of guys around us and I used to kick the metal sheet in front of me like a drum. Boom boom boom boom Olloways blue army. Used to sing a lot, start a lot of songs - lots to sing about then.
This has to be the most cringeworthy thing this club has ever done and we are not short of nominations.
Think it's just meant to be a bit of fun. When I saw it, the 1st thing I thought about was all the great times I've had at the R's. So maybe the bosses are trying to bring the feelgood factor back?
