http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11715/7390653/ Is this his way of saying we wont spend at all, seems to be hinting we dont have any funds available
no need for the word panic. it should just say "Bates wont buy". He will however see if we can get some loan players in
As some have hinted, maybe he's building the ground before the team. Unfortunately, the point he makes is a true one. But as you say 60, where's the money from the sale of Gradel & Schmeical? Leicester are a good example of the old adage that money doesn't always buy you success. But as someone else has suggested, it can help. The January TW isn't a great time to be splashing the cash. But let's hope that a decent CB, RB, & attacking midfield suddenly appear from nowhere & we can snap them up. If not, we'll have to make use of what we've got, & possibly change thing around a bit. 4231 with Nunez as the attacking CM behind Becchio. One can only dream guys. Keep the faith. MOT
he tells it better than HANS CHRISTAIN ANDERSON is latest book is called ,the truth and me ,by Santa Bates
After saying that he wont be spending money on players that this is an appauling statement. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11715/7391437/Bates-warns-Leeds-boss-Grayson I know that you don't need money for success (and believe me, it doesn't always help anyway ), but this seems a little harsh on Grayson who i think is doing a great job with you guys.
Fairly accurate pronouncements on the current situation YNBK. Not sure I'd like to be Papa Smurf if he sacked SG after not fully backing him in the transfer market. January & the TW will be an interesting time. One or two via the loan market, or a genuine addition to the squad if the right player became available. But given our recent past, I wouldn't want Papa Smurf to splash the same volume of cash as, say, Leicester; just a bit on the right player would be nice. In Grayson I trust. Keeping the faith. MOT
Bates should lose his job if we're not promoted. Useless sack of **** failure in business, life and football.
