Bates apparently played last week with the flu so S. O'D has given him other week to show in training he should get a longer contract, not sure why Wilson has got a weeks extention as well perhaps wth Edwards gone he thinks he needs cover at RB?
SoD hasn't seen him play/train so looks like he wants to give him a chance as with everyone else. I think the Edwards deal was pretty much done when McInnes was in charge.
