Sebastien Bassong has joined Peterborough United, just days after appearing for the Queens Park Rangers Under-23s.Bassong has signed a contract until the end of January with Posh, having spent more than a year without a club.

I had to check but you're completely right. Both played for Newcastle but a couple of years apart. I don't think I clocked the subtle difference and merged them into one player. And what a great, calamitous four-legged beast it was.

My confused head hurts now.
