    Is it any coincidence that Watford seems to have gone off the boil since Bassong arrived?. There again so have we since he left. Maybe he did have a use, even if it was only to remind first team players that there are no guarantees.

    Not sure what's happened to Snodgrass nor Pilkington either. They seem to have dissappear into obscurity.

    Bassong was solid at Watford until he was injured, Snodgrass has just returned to light training after a serious knee injury very early in the season and Pilks is playing every game at his new club! <ok>

    Pilkington wasn't as good as people thought IMO. Snoddy has been injured since he joined Hull and Bassong. Not sure what's happened there.

    Whoscored statistics show Bassong at 6.76, which is satisfactory (but well below all of our CBs). Pilks is rated at 6.86, which is good but not great after 14 games. Redmond is rated at 7.54, for example.
