    Sorry if this has already been answered but what happened to Basso for him to be subbed right at the end ?

    He'd injured himself when he took a kick a few minutes earlier. Guess it was a combination of precautionary and wasting a bit of time. We wanted to make a 3rd sub to waste the time but didn't want to do it and then have Basso go completely leaving us goalieless (or at least proper goalieless) for the end of the game.

    NP said in his interview on TIGERS PLAYER it was purely precautionary and as he put it 'To Get Gulasci back on the horse'

    Think it was a case of wasting a bit of time, taking no risks to Basso and to give Gulasci a boost of confidence. Basso is all sorted now though !!!
