    Sounds really interesting I for one will give him time if he has the clubs best interests at heart. I woul dlove the club to be run like Exeter City through a trust. The fans own the club and never spend more than they have.

    I have paid my 55 pence to buy the paper and have read the 2 articles.

    Baz talks about how much he has personally put into the club and the suggestion that he has twice turned down mult million pound bids for the club since he took over. He talks about how his "people won't be drawing any salary or expenses from the club" and how the SW corner will be restarted once the "new tenders have been sent out and agreed". He also hopes work on the new East Stand could begin within 12 months.

    Frankly half of what he has said doesn't make sense IMO. Baz has bought Watford to make money, he has no previous experience in the sport and has no affiniti to the club, so he has got to be in it to make money. And I don't think his plans are credible, for me its as simple as that.

    If in 12 months time I can see some real progress then I will be the first to hold my hand up and apologise, but I can't see the credibility in his plans.

    Well, he is not drawing any money at the moment, but if it comes to the point where we are making profits, then how can any of us really deny him that right to take money out??

    Maybe he is just saying 'all the right things' but he is coming across as someone who is trying to help the club out, not just himself.

    Actions speak louder than words... so if in 12 months time the East stand is being built, and we are becoming more and more sustainable with the debt coming down, then I would hope the anti-Bas gang are humble enough to say they were wrong...

    The guy needs a chance to prove himself, and has said himself it is a learning edperience for himself! Personally I don't think he has done anything wrong so far other than not being great at the PR side at the beginning... but he seems to be improving that side of it!

    If what he says does turn out to be true, then it does look very good for the club - andonce the 'fair play' reules come in, I believe we will be in a very strong position!!

    And some more;

    http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...atford_want_seven_permanent_signings/ref=twt/

    Bas saying he wants to bring in 5 more players - 2 midfielders, 2 strikers and a left back - plus loaness on top of that! He does say a lot of action tends to be in August, so we may have to wait, but they are trying! He also says he doesn't want anyone else to leave, but accepts if big money does come in for a player, then it is always a possibility

    Another instalment, with regards to the pitch! It is definitely getting done next season, at a cost of £1m. A deposit has been put done already! Full time maintenance staff now employed, plus covers/lighting, so hopefully won't be in as bad as condition. He also said it wasn't likely to be done anyway as too much needs doing - so Saracens deal (worth £800-900k for the club) was worth doing!

    Just how much more is to come out? We have moaned about the WO in recent months but they have certainly received answers to many things that we have wondered about. Frank will need a new pencil at this rate.;)

    Well, you wait weeks for an interview, then 8 come along all at once. This is all very odd. The claims that "someone" recently wanted to buy the club for £10m (or was it £15M?) are just bizarre. (Unless it was that "credible consortium of property developers , bankers and football experts" headed by a convicted fraudster who were sniffing around last season.) It defies belief that Mr B has put £10M of his own money into the club since he became involved, or that he is paying staff out of his own pocket while not taking any money out of the club at all--not even expenses. And the intentions to develop the Red Lion, the SW corner , the East Stand (with a clinic and hotel attached) within 12 months seem to take us into fantasy land. Still, strange things happen at sea, so perhaps even stranger things can happen in Hertfordshire. Lets start with those 5 more signings, and see how we go from there.....

    Call it women's intuition ;)

    I think all this is great! If he actually is doing, and does what he says, we are going to look good if nothing else! I think, although there is a lot to be nervous about at the mo, coz we don't see any physical evidence as yet, we should reserve judgement and perhaps, unlike Watford fans in general, start thinking positively and realise that we do deserve this, and though it does seem that often 'these things don't happen to Watford FC', maybe ..it's our turn :)

    I'll believe this when, and only when, what he says materialises.

    If everything in there is true, then I was badly, badly wrong. But it'll take a lot more than a good interview to convince me that the sun shines out of his derrière.
