I hope we are getting the Basey who played early on in his loan spell. I thought his more recent performances against Chesterfield and when he came on as sub yesterday were nowhere near as assured. It looks like Waddock agrees with me as well, otherwise why did Danny Foster play left back against Exeter and start yesterday?
good news, i ssupect he will play tomorrow at left back with danny foster moving to centre back - surely waddock has seen the sense with tunnicliffe? i suspect (and hope) harding is being lent out to make way for a new centre midfielder coming in on loan, hopefully rowlands. otherwise, were stuck with halls as third choice!
AFC Wimbledon are trying to get Scott Davies on loan from Crawley. Maybe we could get him back............
Please not, it's good we missed out in the summer. His career has taken a nosedive since telling us he was too good for league 2. He was shocking during his second loan spell and by all accounts has done nothing at crawley and aldershot.
This is a good signing, on the whole Basey has done very well for us despite a little dip in form lately. I think Foster has done ok at left and deserved to keep his place recently. But like Jose says, Foster will probably move into the middle tomorrow giving Basey another chance. Re Davies, I don't want him back either. He's lost his way after showing a lot of promise a couple of years ago and we need someone more reliable. Hopefully he picks up again as he was great to watch when on form.
Good news, no matter who's favoured at the wing backs. That we have him permeantly. With harding out on loan. Another new centre.mid will be good. Especially if they are attacking because halls and Lewis are defenseive. So to Have a player that will keep blomefield performing. As we are in the red it will be a free agent or a loan. Let's hope trotta and antony can stay all season.
