He's refused to play in a friendly yesterday Feel sorry for the fans fter owners have screwed them. I dont blame the players for wanting to move on
Liked the way our goal threat came from all over the park. How important are Sterling and Coutinho going to be this year???
we'll see... citeh are only playing an f'n friendly. 12 months ago utd won the cl to give moyes his only "major" trophy year before city won then ended up useless
Everyone looks tasty at least once a season remember you lost 3-1 to us not too long ago that's how quick things change in football
We looked actually solid today in that the threat of us capitulating a la Palace and letting in countless ridiculous goals seems to have been greatly lessened (if not eradicated entirely due to Martin 'own goal' Skrtel's presence at the back). But we also were controlled and stable in midfield but dynamic, attacking and threatening too. Very good signs, yes, but it was still pre-season and the league is a different challenge and proposition. We will be a different side this season, more stable and composed when under pressure, we probably won't score quite as many goals but the compensation for that will be our stronger defence and less goals conceded, so it doesn't mean we won't win as much just probably not by the same massive margins as certain matches last time out.
Both Skrtl and Sakho require Lovren or Agger by their side in order to do rudimentary things like Breeeeathe and Seeeeeeeee.
I do wonder how they both manage to carry out those necessary things on their own. Skrtel must be looking for a manual up opposition players shirts
Great to see we continue to hit teams early on and this time see them out too. I reckon we'd have done City proper today had we faced them
Manquillo looked solid on both sides of the ball. Lovren looked sharp and him with France form Sakho will be beastly through the middle, LB tho.......
