Apparently we've had a second bid of 5.25m accepted. Excited for this. He really impressed at the Euros. Only 20 too.
Yeah seems great opportunity at that price If he achieves his potential then we have a great player If he dont he didnt cost much He doesnt seem the Kante type so hopefully we still want to sign another midfielder aswell as we will be short when Inler leaves aswell
Really excited about him, he can play anywhere across the midfield but is definitely not a Kanté replacement, if anything he'd probably be played wide or behind the striker (in a Mahrez or Okazaki role). My best friend is Polish and says he's really good, probably the best player to come out of their league since Lewandowski. Plus, his name translates as 'little cabbage.' What's not to like?
Have heard really good things - namely that he has an excellent engine and is eager to learn. Have also read that the price is £7.4M?
... I singled him out after Poland's first game on one of the Euro threads ... quick, tricky and with a little bit of nasty too ... certainly not a defensive mid .... would be a steal at that price... and with Wasyl around to help him settle in ... still just a kid. .
Good price and age so no gamble. What's going to happen with him, in 1 or 2 seasons we'll be selling him for 30 million ?
Are we happy with the way our transfers are going ? And how strong do you think we are compared to last season ?
Im worried about goals in all honesty. I cannot see us getting enough goals. I want a supporting striker to come in, like Deeney (but i know it wont be him), who can score goals.
My worry is that Vardy wont be as good as last year (more games and, simply, cant be!), Musa i dont rate from the very limited football ive seen from him so far and Mahrez is fine and will score. I think we are one supporting striker short thats all. And are we seeing Amartey as a back-up RB?
How can you say you dont rate him. None of us have seen anything of him unless you have been watching Russian football
So after a few minutes on the pitch you´re not going to give him time to settle into a new team, country & style of football ? Ed please !
Calm down lads I've been very clear its from very limited football! Just my initial opinion - obviously hope I'm wrong!
We still have Okazaki to assist/be a nuisance. I don't expect Vardy to score as many next season and the club would be silly to put all their eggs in that basket. arguably, Mahrez could play in behind Vardy with Gray and Musa on either wing, we'd be scoring goals before their defenders even blink! Trippier would be a good signing at RB, especially at the £5m recently quoted.
Deal is done apparently - £5.4M + £2M addons. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...cester-Euro-2016-Transfer-News-Rumours-Gossip
