Just read an interview on Sky Sports Website regarding the lovely lad that is Joey Barton. I paraphrase here.

"There were a few in for me and a few I could have chosen but some I simply couldnt. One offer in particular I would have been lynched if I had sigined for but I wont name names or air the dirty washing in public"


Everyone and their dog has concluded that it had to be us? Anyone think we had a sly last minute try to lure the scouse louse to the SOL and have we missed out or simply been lucky?

Personally? I hate the horrible little twat but dont deny he is a quality footballer as well. All in all, pleased we didnt though, if indeed we did try.

Thoughts?

Bellamy would be a teriffic sigining IMO and hasnt stubbed ***s out in other lads eyes, or been to prison for being a little soft cowardly **** either. Also, Bellamy despises Shearer so cant be all bad. Lol



Agree about Barton though.
 
Could have been Liverpool as he is a staunch Evertonian and and so are his family who are all a set of complete tossers by the way so would happily turn on their own family.
