Bob, Thank you for starting this thread, I have been thinking how to write one without absolutely assassinating Barton. He is shocking. Jumps out of the way of tackles, woeful passing, rubbish free kicks and crap corners!!! His positioning is OK but he is so slow in closing players down. I really think he needs to be dropped and stripped of the captaincy. He should have taken Diakate to one side and told him to calm down till half time. He doesn't lead, he doesn't give 100% and he doesn't deserve to wear the hoops. Other than that sure he's a thoroughly nice bloke!
Not worth £5000 a week never mind £80000 and should never be captain. He has not impressed me one bit this season and is a gamble that has badly misfired.
Remember when you played as a kid, the managers son would always play centre forward and take all the set pieces and played every single minute no matter how bad he is. Thats what this situation reminds me of. The corner we scored from was taken by SWP, how many Barton set pieces have we scored from? It would be close to if not zero itself.
To be honest I'm more p##sed off with that waste of space swp, could have had a draw today had he squared it to Makie near the end instead of shooting. Put him cleaning boots or sweeping the stands.

Dont think Wright Phillips has scored one goal for us this season. When he came i was told he would be good for at least 10.
Decent? Constantly giving the ball away, awful set pieces, being a real prick to Taarabt and Mackie. He was the worst player out there and hasnt had a good game all season. I hope he gets a career ending injury, I hate him that much and the sad thing is, that would improve our team.
I have sometimes not liked the odd player at QPR but barton i absolutely hate! I shouldn't think of my clubs captain in that way but the bloke is a tool aswell as a poor footballer !! The way he keeps on at Abel is starting to get on my nerves! And no doubt effects adel himself. it would be really interesting to see our team play without barton as i think he upsets the harmony and balance of the player. he thinks he is bigger than the club!!
Barton was the best player of our pathtetic lot today. He and Kenny were medicore ,the rest of the lot were just poor.
The only other player Ive hated more than him was a convicted rapist, I loathe barton, I tried to give him a chance but I absolutely cannot stand him, hes a 1st class prick with a PL ego and L2 ability. Its clear Warnock wasnt the problem.
Barton is ****. Someone please explain how he had a decent game today or what he brings to the team? Answers on the back of a stamp written with a stick of chalk please!
Just look that match again.......Barton was not especially good but he was head over his pathetic team-mates. I know it is easier after defeat when you have someone to blame for but Joey Barton was not worth of your comments today.
