if he breaches the clubs disciplinary again the club reserves its rights to terminate his contract, oh & barton apologises.

He could go this summer and hes free to play abroad right away. It might be a gentlemans agreement that we wont sack him but he has to leave.

I would hope a twitter ban would have been in there too.

Basically we could be stuck with the overpaid, underperforming, egocentric ****er. (Insert whichever 4 letter word you want. I can think of loads.)

Fined 6 weeks wages = we're still going to pay him for several weeks for doing sweet FA.

Hope the twittering twat is happy.

I guess he has a large smirk on his face right how. Please form a queue to wipe it off him. Bagsy me first.

Exactly this. To be honest, his reaction after being sent of at City doesn't bother me half as much as the bollocks he sprouts on Twitter. This I find far more embarrassing. But I suppose as this will have been looked at by our lawyers just as much as the club officials, I'd imagine they'd have come to the conclusion that you can't tell a player that he can't express his views, as this would be a restriction of his freedom of speech and his human rights.

But as the club have said he'll be sacked if he steps out of line again, then I'm sure we'll see a far more subdued Barton in future.

Well judging by his tweets this morning, he's currently in a hot air balloon somewhere over north africa. Do they have power lines in North Africa?

The club and Barton will be making no further comment.

It took him 5 mins to post this.

"I was reckless and deserved every punishment I received. Money comes and goes, it's not important to me. Losing the captaincy and missing 12 games is what really hurts. I was stupid and that what happens when u do dumb things. I am confident ill bounce back. Cannot wait. That's all I have to say on the matter. I wish to put it behind me now and help QPR, once available of course, push on towards the top half."

I agree however by not banning him they may be hoping that if they give him enough rope he will hang himself and with his record there is a good chance of it.

I think MH will leave him out of the 25 because there will be only a short peroid where he could have an impact which could of further discouragement , because they can always add him to the 25 in January.

Because hes rolling around in it. Another example of the mind-set of this punk. The more I hear from him the more I dislike COLIN.

can't the club get him something useful to do during his ban on the field......like cleaning the bogs after a game?

Good idea. That might deflate his ego somewhat.

Im not even sure he will get back in, I think the club will be trying to get rid of him to one of the rich foreign leagues.
