    I said on here that eventually if Barton carried on bad mouthing the club that people would get fed up with him and after his stupid remarks about Jose and Jonas earlier it seems a few more people are in the same boat.

    I just don't understand what he hopes to gain from this? All he appears to be doing is causing disharmony amongst players he was supposed to be a leader with? Not only that, but if he is edging towards the door, all he is succeeding in doing is reminding potential suitors that he is a gobby ****er with an attitude problem.

    Don't get me wrong, Joey at times last season was fantastic and it's obvious that he cared about the club, but it's becoming increasingly apparent that he has his own agenda and he's trying to disrupt somehow.

    Players get sold all the time, you didn't here Utd players piss and moan cause Stam or Ruud were sold, or Arsenal players rioting over the sale of Henry?

    Anyone else getting a bit fed up with his public airing of dirty laundry?

    I don't like the way he's trying to play us for fools and cultivate the mindless hate mob in order to either get himself a big fat contract, leave a martyr, or get Ashley out of the club. He's meant to be a professional footballer, and he's getting paid roughly £70k a week, so it's not all that hard on him...
