So according to the BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19118854) Barton is on the verge of joining Fleetwood Town for six months. Given that if he goes there he'll be done with his ban by 6th of October, I would see the six month loan as a pretty clear sign from the club that they aren't keen to have him back at QPR. Surely we could otherwise loan him out only until Christmas. Given the signings we've made and those we are potentially going to make, I'm not at all displeased about this. My only thought is, does this spell the end of Barton as a top flight footballer or will we see him back, with QPR or any other club in the future once his six month loan is up?
Hi daverangers, Strangely I have just been on the Fleetwood Town not 606 message board which is a ghost town. Tend to agree but time will tell.
Whether he is just training with them or he signs its just amazing how far he has fallen, this time last year he was keeping us waiting hoping a top four team would come in for him,now he's at fleetwood town.
