Let off or sacked?? Let off I think with a hefty fine and stripped of captaincy.

My bet is they cant sack him so will leave him out of the 25 and say hes free to leave.

    Then its up to Barton.

Let off, the maximum fine allowed, which is only 2 weeks wages, and also a ban on twitter. I'd imagine we'd try and get him out on loan to the continent to keep him match fresh and then he'll keep the bench warm till we a desperate.

Interesting Tweet just now from Barton, just minutes before the statement is released. He tweeted a picture of a hot air balloon and simply wrote, fly away. WTF does that mean?

I was going to ask where will we hear about it first? The Offish SSN etc. Silly me, I'll stay tuned to our board then.

Over him, I accept he was hard done by with the 2 red cards, but the "afters" and general attitude is not QPR. Reform or bugger off. If it was my corporate world and I couldn't release him back into the wild, I'd have him do community work and work with the youth until he got it. I think of his wages and our position a few years back, and it doesn't make sense. He s not a QPR captain

Exactly. And as someone said on another thread - it's brought into stark contrast a few days after Macca died. Barton should be ashamed

6 week fine and stripped of Captaincy. So he's still our problem. But I'm sure if he even farts in the wrong direction he'll be gone.

plus a contract termination if he does anything wrong again, hes agreed to that himself.

I think its the most they could have done. It still wouldnt surprise me if he left for Russia, China or the middle east.

Seems harsh enough to me. My concern is the effect of him on the team as a whole. I hope he does not turn into an annoying niggle that upsets the apple cart. The hot air baloon tweet is particularly discouraging!! The meaning is pretty clear - all that's been said to him is hot air. Now I think the sooner he's gone the better whereas before I wondered whether a last chance might help him and the club.

I wish to protest that that excuse for a 'professional' is to be allowed to stay at QPR.
    Frankly, its disgraceful.
Shame on the club if he is ever allowed on a pitch in a QPR shirt. Shame.
