just come on hq site & will probaly take two weeks & there will be no further comment from either club or player untill its resolved watch this space then.
I see he and his 'team' are 'cooperating fully'. Can't see why it would take at least two weeks, unless, as is likely, the key players are scattered all over the world. As for the no comment from either side, has nobody told Marc Bircham this?
The full FA Regulatory Commission report has been released and there's an interesting sentence which states that Barton admits the content of some of his 'Tweets' were lies.............game, set and match. Sack him.
So that would be the player telling him to get someone sent off to even it up. That really helps us if we want to get rid of him.
From early on Sun eve of the game I thought this was going to be the clincher, the Tweets that is. It's difficult to argue that you are not bringing a club and its staff into disrepute with the comments as I've seen them reported.
Bugger, didn't think to check there, just went with Google and got bombarded with stuff I didn't need!!
Direct from the investigation: Barton speaks ........ from the usual orifice. please log in to view this image
Personally i cant see any way back for barton i think most of the fans will give him hell if he returned.
If the club do that, he can show the investigation wasnt fair. I bet theyve already decided to sack him but have to wait until it seems theyve investigated everything.
It'll be lawyers racking up the hours, inserting clauses that both parties keep their mouths shut about the whole thing.
That depends on if he agrees to leaving the club. If he doesnt and we sack him. Theres nothing to agree too as it will be sorted out in the courts.
