    I for one would wish at times he would keep his big gob shut, and prove on the pitch to the Newcastle board that they screwed up by letting him leave

    It's another example of a) Mike Ashley not having a clue about how to run a football club, and b) Barton speaking his mind when others dare not.

    He's happy at QPR and is happy to tell everyone. That's good enough for me.

    He seems to have an over-inflated sense of his own importance. For whatever reason I cannot imagine. Could be partly due to living in that bubble that footballers do.

    I was on a flight with Steve McManaman once and he sat on the arm rest for the duration so that he'd be about two feet above everyone and seen by all. Some of them do let their egos get the better of them.

    it could have been that Mcmanamanamanamanam has got very fat since he stopped playing and couldn't fit in the seat
