Maybe - my criticism of him is tempered by the fact he whacked the little T**T Tevez.

OK TF, time to see the colour of your money! Wonder what his advice has been from those "experienced people" he spoke about. We shall see.

To b honest I've been expecting him to do something that would earn him a long ban ever since e lost it with Johnson and his twitter outburst.

He's had several previous lessons and has clearly learned nothing. rbf's new dog is a lot quicker on the uptake by the sound of it. (Just don't teach him to tweet rbf, pleeeease.)

He should be thrown out of the UK, Barton is a disgusting, rabid animal.

Di Canio got 11 games for lightly pushing over a referee. Barton was a lot worse and actually has a history of being an absolute prick, I would of been a lot harsher would of demanded a monetary fine, when players are law to themselves they need to be made an example of.

He's not killed or raped anyone as far as I know. He's effectively been sent off four times this season- a 'headbutt' with no contact, an elbow reacting to a punch in the head, a knee to a grown man's thigh which sent him sprawling to the ground in mock agony and another headbutt with no contact which Lescott pushed him into. By all means he should be banned but 12 games seems somewhat draconian given the bans given to Suarez and Ben Thatcher for his assault on Mendes.

Hardly see how this ban is going to teach Barton anything?

He will pick up at least 7 weeks wages on 80k each = 560k for sitting twiddling his thumbs...

Where do I sign for such a situation to happen to me?

Barton keeps me entertained, you can be assured that something will happen, and he never fails to disappoint.

Ban for 7 games would have been suitable and fair, 4 for Suarez incident (malicious, bit more serious) and 3 for Tevez incident (retaliation), so I disagree with the ruling personally.

If you think its harsh how long do you feel he should of got? Personally I feel they have got it about right. Having said that he is a **** so would be happy to see him banned forever, certainly would be no loss to football.

How long till he gets drunk and kicks someone in the head outside a night club, the guy then dies from the head trauma....hardly a stretch.

Barton is dangerous. he thinks it's cool to hit people and prove his hardness. A school boy bully that never grew up. A ticking time bomb. I hate people like Joey Barton, he's a disgusting human being.

He doesn't drink I believe so it's unlikely. Either way what you're saying is just pointless scaremongering. He's not 'bullied' anyone in this incident.

Well the four matches for the elbow was a given (though his first red of the season should have been revoked but that's not relevant). I can just about accept getting another three matches for the knee on Aguero though it was so tame and pathetic that I felt embarrassed for the guy as he writhed on the floor. One could well argue Lescott pushed his head towards Kompany so I don't see how the FA can justify calling that another red card offence.

I'd have given him 7 in total if I were the FA based on precedents and the rather minor level of brutality involved.

Maybe my comments are over the top, I hope they always remain that way but so far he's lived up to my expectations, which are those of a rabid animal, I just hope I'm wrong about the killing, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens by accident. It's the vibe I get off him. He's very dangerous, hot headed and at times incapable of controlling himself.

He used to be an alcoholic, so drinking again is possible.

I never said he bullied anyone in this incident but you see that kind of behavior from bullies.

P.s Watford R, why are you defending someone that tarnishes the image of your club? QPR is far better than Barton, you don't need him and you can afford far better
