JOEY BARTON will be hit with his FA ban today for lashing out in the final match of the season. The QPR skipper has requested a personal hearing and will have his violent conduct charges heard by an independent panel. He admits kneeing Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero at the Etihad Stadium but denies aiming a head-butt at Vincent Kompany . Being dismissed has guaranteed Barton a four-match suspension but the FA will add further games if he is found guilty of the charges.
The panel hearing will be next Wednesday. I'll like to know how he'll prove not guilty on that one!...
