I worry for your eyesight Rob and I worry for the game. It was a case of two men squaring up like idiots, with the red card going to the one who doesn't react like a bigger idiot. Barton should have remembered the success he had against Arsenal, then maybe we would be on here talking about Johnson.

I know I promised to leave, but I feel I should be humble and accept defeat. I posted as a WUM in retaliation to rangercol's "interesting article" thread on our board, but I now realise it was a mistake. I can see that in this game of banter, I've been completely outwitted and outplayed- the reinforcements you've brought on, and especially the tactic of referring to us Canaries as "inbreds" was pivotal to your victory today. I can only hold my hands up and say you deserved victory and hopefully I will be able to put up a better fight next time. Normally in this situation I would appeal to the "getsomefreshbanter" tribunal due to the inbred accusation, which I perceive as cheating because it has been used for decades. Canary Nob, the fact is (as you put it) the video on MOTD clearly shows 2 players walking towards each other and touching heads while obviously giving each other verbal abuse. It also clearly shows the ref and linesman looking directly at the incident, we had the ball, if either of them saw anything like a headbutt (or attempt to headbutt) they would have stopped the game immediately, sent Barton off and given you boys a free kick. However, that didn't happen, the game carried on for a few seconds, the linesman continued to run down the line towards your end and the ref followed the ball out wide before stopping the game for another foul. Only then did your players kick off with the 4th official and eventually it was decided to send Barton off for something he blatantly didn't do. So, if one of our supporters wants to come on OUR board and vent his anger at the useless FA and their useless officials, then he should be able to without twats like you getting involved. Until this incident I always thought of Norwich as a decent club with decent supporters, recently been in the lower leagues and had financial troubles, much like ourselves. Now, I hope a bigger club sacks a manager soon and nicks Lambert from you.........in fact I wouldn't be surprised if it was us!!!!
No great surprise there. It was a tactical appeal since to not appeal would have been admission of guilt. Not bothered re FA cup but will be missed for other games. If ever there was a time to cautiously and judiciously splash the cash, this is it! The Rss are staying up!! (The power of positive thinking!!!!)
